Viet Nam-US promote educational cooperation

Vietnamese Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính visited and held talks at the University of San Francisco (USF) on Monday. At the USF, the Prime Minister stressed that Viet Nam identifies education as a top national policy. Therefore, cooperation in education and training, especially high-quality personnel training, is a focus of joint relations.

He proposed that the USF take the lead in cooperating with Viet Nam by providing more scholarships for Vietnamese students, especially in new fields such as innovation and digital and green transformation. He also hoped that Vietnamese students at USF would continue to promote Vietnamese traditional cultural values and act as a bridge to bolster Vietnamese-US relations.
