Viet Nam Television wins Global Impact Award

Viet Nam Television has taken home the Global Impact Award for its documentary piece on "Vietnamese Doctors Save Lives in Angola". 

It was selected from more than 32,000 news stories shared on the ABU news platform by member broadcasters during the past year. The Global Impact Awards, presented at the ABU Global News Forum in Sydney, Australia, honour outstanding international reporting that provides essential context and brings a human perspective to global events.

Hosted in partnership with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation from September 2 to 4, this year’s Global News Forum has brought together news leaders from across the Asia-Pacific under the theme “Resilient Journalism: Safeguarding Truth and Wellbeing”.
