Viet Nam celebrates inclusive PWDs day

Viet Nam marked Disability Day on Saturday, organizing a large-scale celebration on Nguyễn Huệ Walking Street in Ho Chi Minh City. The day also marked a meaningful milestone. a candidate nominated by the Viet Nam Federation of Disability had been elected to the 16th National Assembly for the first time.

This achievement captures the spirit of this year’s theme: “Promoting the participation rights of persons with disabilities – Creating breakthroughs for development.” It also highlights growing political participation by people with disabilities, and reflects Viet Nam’s commitment to ensuring equal rights and opportunities for all citizens.
