Viet Nam, Austria strengthen inter-parliamentary cooperation

Vietnamese President Vo Van Thuong met President of the Federal Council of Austria Claudia Arpa in Vienna. The State President suggested that the two sides promote exchange of delegations at all levels to enhance political trust, facilitate bilateral cooperation, and coordinate closely at regional and international inter-parliamentary forums.

Both sides pledged to continue close coordination and mutual support at multilateral forums and international organizations for peace, cooperation and development in the region and the world. They expressed the belief that cooperative ties between the two countries will grow further in the future.
