Viet Nam and China promote substantive cooperation

On March 16th in Hanoi, Viet Nam Minister of Foreign Affairs Lê Hoài Trung, Minister of National Defense Phan Văn Giang, and Minister of Public Security Lương Tam Quang co-chaired the first 3+3 Strategic Dialogue meeting alongside Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, Defense Minister Dong Jun, and Public Security Minister Wang Xiaohong.

The ministers agreed on the positive development trend in Viet Nam-China ties in recent times, following the “six more” orientation, and stressed the importance of properly managing maritime issues in line with international law and the friendly relations between the two countries.
