Viet Nam among top 5 countries receiving the most long-term investment

Viet Nam is one of the five countries receiving the most long-term investment from the International Finance Corporation (IFC) – a member of the World Bank Group in Asia-Pacific in 2023.

IFC committed nearly 1.9 billion USD in new investment in Viet Nam in fiscal year 2023. Of this figure, 520 million USD is a long-term investment. Most long-term investment capital is used to lend to small and medium-sized enterprises, especially women-owned enterprises and low-income homebuyers. In addition, up to now, IFC has committed more than 900 million USD in long-term funding to support climate-related projects.
