Vibrant lacquer horse sculptures to celebrate Lunar New Year

Lunar New Year time had long been an endless inspiration for artist. And for this year of the Horse, a collection of lacquer horse sculptures has just been unveiled in Duong Lam craft village on the outskirts of Hanoi. The artworks are expected to mark the Lunar Year of the Horse while spotlighting the region's traditional craftsmanship.

Born into an artistic family, Nguyen Tan Phat has spent more than two decades honing his craft, earning numerous accolades and showcasing hiswork at multiple exhibitions. Widely recognized by the public and on social media, he was regarded as one of Viet Nam’s most influential lacquer artisans.
