Vaccine Drive: Vaccine Drive Continues In Various States, Regions

As the vaccination plays the vital role in the prevention and containment of COVID-19, in each region and state, the doctors from public hospitals, Nurses, Health workers and volunteers are working hard to provide immunizations for the local people over the age of 40 including monks and nuns, religious leaders without discrimination of race and religion, prisoners, people with disabilities, ethnic armed groups; people with chronic diseases, relief camps; people in temporary refugee camps; the target groups of primary, middle and high school students over 12 years of age.
On 10 April, local people in 26 townships in Ayeyarwady Region, local people in 11 townships in Rakhine State; local people from seven districts in Mandalay Region and 258 local people in Taungoo and Htantabin Townships in Bago Region were inoculated COVID-19 vaccines by the doctors from public hospitals, Nurses, Health workers and volunteers.
Officials from the respective regions and states visited the site and coordinated the necessary work.
