Vaccine Drive: Vaccination Continues In Various Regions, States

The COVID-19 vaccine is inoculated daily to target groups regardless of race or religion, including Buddhist monks and nuns, local people over the age of 40, students, religious leaders, prisoners, people with disabilities, ethnic armed organizations, people with chronic diseases, people in IDP camps and over 12-year-old students, respectively.

On 20 March, doctors and nurses from public hospitals, medical teams from the Tatmadaw, relevant healthcare workers in collaboration with volunteers injected COVID-19 vaccines to people from Monghkat Township in Shan State (East), Myeik Township in Taninthayi Region, 26 townships in Ayeyawady Region, five townships in Rakhine State, seven districts in Mandalay Region and Htantabin and Bago townships in Bago Region, respectively.

It is reported that officials from the respective Military Commands visited the sites and coordinated the necessary work.
