Vaccine Donation: Thailand donated 1 million Vaccines

Thailand donated 1 million doses of AstraZeneca Vaccines through Myanmar Red Cross Society.

The first batch of 500,000 doses of vaccines arrived on Saturday, together with 500,000 pieces of syringes and it was handed over to the MRCS at a ceremony held at Yangon International Airport.

The donated vaccines will be provided to the least coverage areas of border regions as a priority. As of 12th March, over 24 million people have been vaccinated with more than 21 million people who completed two doses while 3.3 million with one dose.
