US warns any Iran attack on shipping will be met with 'devastating' response

US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth warns that Iran will face "overwhelming and devastating American firepower" if Iran attacks "American troops or innocent commercial shipping".

Pete Hegseth, US Secretary of Defense said  "To what remains of Iran's forces, if you attack American troops or innocent commercial shipping, you will face overwhelming and devastating American firepower. The President has been very clear about this."

Hegseth added that the US is not looking for a fight over the Strait of Hormuz.
