US Secretary of State Rubio arrives in India for 'trade diplomacy'

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio began his three-day visit to India on Tuesday. During the meeting in Mumbai, Indian External Affairs Minister S.Jaishankar and Rubio exchanged views on the West Asia crisis.

They are expected to deliberate on ways to further strengthen the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership in energy, trade and investment, defence and critical technologies. The visit provides an opportunity to further advance cooperation across various pillars of strategic partnership.
