US regulator orders Boeing 737 MAX 9 inspections after emergency incident

On 5th January, part of a Boeing 737 MAX 9 fuselage blew out on an Alaska Airlines flight out of Portland in the U.S.

The US air safety regulator on Saturday ordered immediate inspections of some 170 Boeing 737 MAX 9 planes after a window panel blew out after takeoff on an Alaska Airlines flight. The European Union Aviation Safety Agency has decided to ground Boeing 737 Max 9 planes following the Alaska Airlines incident, according to Reuters, after a similar decision from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration.
