US ambassador to Ukraine visits Borodyanka

The new US ambassador to Ukraine on Saturday visited the devastated town of Borodyanka along with the nation's Prosecutor General.

She toured the town accompanied by Ukraine Prosecutor General and viewed scorched and ruined buildings in residential areas.

Several apartment buildings were destroyed during fighting between Russian troops and Ukrainian forces in Borodyanka, about 40 miles northwest of Kyiv.
