Upgrading works: Union Minister inspected rail road upgrading works

The Union Minister for Transport and Communications Admiral Tin Aung San inspected Yangon-Taunggo Rail Road Section Upgrading Project; completion of rail road section, bridge construction, renovation works fo Pyin Pon Gyi Railway Station on December 9.

First, the union minister met the representatives from the in-charge company and the sub-contract companies regarding the first phase of the project and gave necessary instructions. Then, the in-charge companies and sub-contract companies reported regarding the security measures and financial matters and the union minister together with the responsible officials from Myanma Railway and the project consultant board fulfilled the requirements.

Next, the union minister instructed to implement the project with the given time frame as the investment for the rail road upgrading project is massive, to meet the quality standard, to abide by the instructions of the ministry of health to prevent the infection of COVID-19 and the systematic coordination between the Myanma Railway and companies.

Later, the union minister together with deputy minister and officials concerned inspected Pyundasa Railway Yard and construction works of Kawliya bridge on Daik Oo-Phaung Taw Thi road section, completion of Phaung Taw Thi-Phayagyi road section upgrading works, renovation works of Pyin Pon Gyi Railway Station, tended necessaries and gave necessary instructions to the responsible officials.
