Union Government Meeting: Senior General addresses at the meeting in Nay Pyi Taw

Union Government Meeting (5/2022) was held in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday. Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing attended the meeting and made a speech.

The Prime Minister discussed the political progress in the country, including the undertakings by the government in line with the state constitution and permission to hold the party assembly, and meetings.

For the peace process, the Prime Minister stressed that it is needed to fulfill the wish of the ethnic armed organizations within the frame of law, and the constructive discussions have been achieved during the peace talks.

He said the good foundations could be achieved through mutual trust and cooperation. For the economic development, the government is striving to survive the nation economy. Efforts are being made to promote domestic production while supporting the small and medium enterprises.

The Prime Minister also discussed for development of education sector, and called for participation of all concerned parties for education promoting measures together with the Ministry of Education.

He stressed that promoting the education and health sectors could help develop the nation, and urged all to make efforts for moving forward the development endeavours. It was followed by a general round of discussion by the Union Ministers and the Prime Minister made instructions.
