UN envoy Jolie visits internally displaced in Sanaa

UNHCR Special Envoy Angelina Jolie visited internally displaced people in Sanaa on the last stop of a three-day visit to Yemen on Tuesday.She called for protection and support for those affected by years of conflict and an end to human suffering.The actor has been Special Envoy for Refugees since 2011, arrived in Yemen on 6 March for a three-day visit, met both displaced Yemenis as well as refugees in the north and south of the country.She called on all parties to the conflict to respect and commit to international humanitarian law and avoid targeting civilians.Jolie urged the international community to increase international support and redouble efforts to seek an end to the violence.
