Typhoon Doksuri triggers massive landslide and flooding

Typhoon Doksuri has triggered a massive landslide and severe flooding in affected areas of east China's Fujian Province after making landfall on Friday in Jinjiang City. The landslide, took place in Nan'an City without causing any casualty, left roads in ruins while disrupting the daily commuting of about 200 households.

The provincial capital Fuzhou City has been drenched in floodwaters that have trapped many locals. Emergency response teams are working intensely to rescue and relocate those affected by the flood. From Friday evening to Saturday early morning, Fuzhou fire department had dispatched over 200 rescue personnel to evacuate and relocate more than 500 trapped people.
