Turkmen-Turkish inter-parliamentary relations

The parliamentary delegation of Turkmenistan paid a working visit to Ankara. During the visit, the delegation held a bilateral meeting with the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey. The parties stressed the importance of the adoption by the UN General Assembly of the Resolution “2025 – International Year of Peace and Trust” on the initiative of Turkmenistan.

The Turkmen side expressed gratitude to Turkiye for supporting this resolution. During the meeting, it was noted that the negotiations within the framework of the visit will contribute to further strengthening of inter-parliamentary relations. Turkmenistan highly values ​​​​the cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries and is ready to develop it in all areas.
