Turkiye to response if N.Cyprus harmed by France-Cyprus troops deal

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan warned that his country will deliver a very clear response to any developments that threaten the rights of Turkiye and Turkish Cypriots in the Eastern Mediterranean, following the signing of a defense cooperation agreement between France and Cyprus.

Tensions escalated when Cypriot officials reported that Turkish forces interfered with aircraft carrying French, Greek, and Dutch defense ministers as they flew to a European Union meeting in Nicosia.
