Turkey delegation holds talks with Libya leaders

A high-level Turkish delegation headed by Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, visited Tripoli on Saturday for talks with senior Libyan officials. During a meeting with the head of Libya's Presidential Council, Mohammad Younes Menfi, Cavusoglu stressed his country's support for the stability and unity of Libya. In turn, Menfi highlighted the importance of enhancing cooperation and developing bilateral relations between the two nations. The leaders also discussed the Berlin 2 conference due later this month, that aims to bring together powers with interests in Libya and its transitional government. The agenda includes discussions about preparations for elections in December and the withdrawal of foreign forces from Libya.
