Tunisia celebrated the centennial of its Commercial Register, commemorating a century of economic and legal development. The celebration highlighted the country's transition toward a fully digitized and transparent business environment via the modern National Register of Companies.
The Commercial Register was established on 16 July 1926 to organise commercial activity and record information on traders and businesses. The register was recognized for its foundational role in securing commercial rights, structuring economic activity, and providing transparency across a century of historical and legislative shifts in Tunisia.
