President Donald Trump arrived in Beijing for a high-stakes summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping, marking the first U.S. presidential visit to China in nearly a decade.

The visit aims to address trade, AI technology, and geopolitical tensions amid the Iran war. Trump seeks to press China to "open up" to American firms, with talks covering trade barriers, farm goods, and jetliners. Discussions will also cover the Iran war, sanctions on Iranian oil, and tensions surrounding Chinese Taiwan.

Trump is accompanied by US CEOs, including Elon Musk, Tim Cook, and Jensen Huang, to discuss technology, rare earth exports, and Chinese market. The summit, which was delayed from March due to conflicts in the Middle East, is seen as crucial for global stability and economic relations between China and US.
