








The closing ceremony of the vocational training courses, jointly organized by the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs and the Shan State Government, was held Tuesday morning at the Shan State Ethnic Affairs and Vocational Training Center in Ayetharyar Town, Taunggyi Township.
The event was attended by Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs U Than Maung, Shan State Chief Minister U Sai Htein Soe, Deputy Minister U Sai Tun Nyo, state ministers, departmental officials, responsible personnel, and trainees.
At the ceremony, the Union Minister and the State Chief Minister delivered closing remarks. Following this, the Deputy Minister and state ministers presented completion certificates and support materials to the trainees, as well as certificates of honor and cash rewards to the instructors. They then viewed and encouraged the exhibition of traditional clothing, various snacks, and consumer goods made by the trainees, it’s reported.
