Tourism Sector: Clarification meeting on Virtual Reality display held

The Union Minister for Hotel and Tourism Dr. Htay Aung on Thursday attended the clarification meeting on Virtual Reality display booth at Bagan Information Training Centre (BITC) via Video Conferencing platform.

In the display booth, the travel destinations and tourist attractions in the Regions and States including Nay Pyi Taw Council Area are showcased for the observation of the local and international visitors to facilitate in promotion of tourism sector of Myanmar.

At the meeting, the leader of Cam Tech Task Force clarified the completion of the task on Virtual Reality display booth featured with tourist attraction scenes from the Regions and States including Nay Pyi Taw Council Area with 360° depiction, giving training course to the staff of display booth and the arrangement of 360° video for the easily viewing of public on Offline/Online Version.

In responding to the clarification, the union minister instructed to screen the Virtual Reality in other regions, international fairs and celebrations, to be better video quality of tourist destinations, to be included more effective scenes attracted to the visitors in the future travelogue shootings and preparations for the requirements of technology and equipments to showcase it coming ASEAN Tourism Forum to be held in Cambodia in 2022.

Then, the attendees to the meeting inquired regarding with the Virtual Reality and the leader of Cam Tech Taskforce replied the quarries and the union minister gave necessary instructions.
