




The numbers of travelers from ASEAN countries to Myanmar are increasing again in October and November this year.
Since the resumption of travel activities, people mostly visit Chauntha, Ngwe Saung, Ngapali beaches and other tourists’ destinatons, and creations job opportunities for locals are on the rise.
Naung Naung Han, Chairman, Myanmar Tourism Federation, " Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, people were losing their job opportunities in hotels and tourism industry. Currently, the businesses are started to reopen and direct employment are increasing in this sector. There are a lot of job opportunities in tourist destinatons such as Chaun Tha, Ngwe Saung, Ngapali beaches and Bagan. Usually, there are already experienced staffs and workers in beach areas. Also the training programs and classes are opened in Hotels organized by the regional government. The improvement of hotels and tourisms industry can increase the production businesses and indirect employment in regions."
In this travel season, Pyin Oo Lwin, Mandalay and Bagan are most attracted to the travelers and people usually visited Taungyi, Kalaw, Inlay region as well.
