Tour in Yangon : Language development and publishing books

Union Minister for Education Dr Chaw Chaw Sein visited Myanmar Language Commission under the Department of Myanmar Nationalities' Languages Office on Saturday.

The Union Minister met with the commission members, and officials, and urged all to strive for development of Myanmar Language, with correct writing pattern. Officials reported on the work undertakings by the commission and process for compiling the dictionary.

The Union Minister later viewed the books, treatises and references at the library and implementation of e-library system. The Union Minister later proceeded to the Universities' Press and heard reports on publishing of books, and work processes. She then viewed the printing works being carried out at the press.
