Tour in Vientiane Traditional Silk Museum and Art Museum

The wife of the President, Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, who is accompanying the State Visit to the Lao People's Democratic Republic, visited the Lao Traditional Silk Museum and the Lao Art Museum to learn about the country's rich cultural and artistic heritage.

During the visit, she toured the museum's exhibits showcasing Laos' traditional silk weaving techniques, handcrafted textiles, and the country's long-standing silk-making heritage. She also observed displays highlighting the cultural significance and craftsmanship of Lao silk.

Daw Kyu Kyu Hla then visited the Lao Art Museum, where she viewed a wide range of traditional and contemporary artworks reflecting the history, culture, and artistic achievements of the Lao people. She toured the museum's galleries and learned about the country's artistic traditions and cultural heritage.
