Tour in Sittwe : Providing assistance at the IDP camps

Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin on Saturday visited Hmansi Village in Sittwe Township to oversee the health care services being provided by the state Public Health Department.

The Chief Minister also met with the in-charge of the camp and discussed matters on fire safety, security and rule of law. He instructed for academic opportunity for school-going-aged children, and health care services, and called for cooperation with concerned administrative bodies and departments.

He then presented foodstuff for the displaced persons. They later proceeded to Khaungdokkar (2) IDP Camp and viewed the settlement condition. The Chief Minister and party also inspected the Darpaing Village market and visited the Thae Chaung Village monastery.
