







Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win visited the Pathein Military Command's Training Center in Ayeyawady Region on Friday and met with trainees of the People’s Military Service Training Course.
Also present at the occasion were SAC member Union Minister for Defence General Maung Maung Aye, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Htein Win, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung, the Region Chief Minister, senior Tatmadaw officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, the Commander of Southwest Command and other relevant officials.
Speaking on the occasion, Union Minister General Maung Maung Aye outlined the systematic selection of eligible recruits in line with legal requirements and stressed the importance of applying military skills in actual situations to defend the country.
The Vice-Senior General then delivered a speech, affirming that Tatmadawmen are distinct from civilians, serving the State and Tatmadaw diligently. He urged all to avoid inappropriate actions that could tarnish their earned dignity. He emphasized the need to fulfill their duties as Tatmadawmen, continuously refining military skills, staying active and combat-ready while adhering to the three principles and applying the skill through practical aspects.
The Vice Senior General encouraged all to live as trustworthy citizens, respected by both the State and their families. After the meeting, Vice Senior General Soe Win presented cash prizes to the people’s military trainees and warmly greeted to them.
Next, the Vice Senior General and party paid a visit to the region military hospital. During the visit, they reviewed the medical care provided to military personnel, inquired about their health progress, and offered nutritious food and cash of honor. Cash prizes were also presented to healthcare personnel. The Vice Senior General and party then toured the hospital, inspected the facilities and instructed the requirements.
At the Southwest Command’s meeting hall, the Vice-Senior General met with the Chief Minister, Commander and other relevant officials to discuss regional security matters. They then toured the military station and warmly met with the families of military personnel while providing nutritious food and cash assistance.
