






Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing visited Ngaputaw Township Department of Immigration and Population on Thursday.
He oversaw the issuance of household lists and national registration cards to those who lost and damaged the documents and those reached 18 years of age. Under the Pan Khin Project Phase (3), the national registration cards have been issued through scrutiny process, along with collecting Biographic/ Biometric data for Unique ID number.
During the tour, the Union Minister also inspected the storage of office documents and instructed for safety of the office equipments. At the Township General Administration Department, the Union Minister met with the members of Township War Veterans Organization and explained the government's work undertakings, and holding of the multi-party democracy general election in phases.
He also called for cooperation of the war veterans in implementing for the development of the region. During the meeting, foodstuff, solar lamps and medicines were provided for the war veterans.
