Tour in Mandalay: Bean and Bamboo Processing Plants in Mandalay Region

Union Minister for Commerce U Tun Ohn, accompanied by departmental officials, visited bean and bamboo processing plants in Pyigyidagun and Amarapura Townships of Mandalay Region on May 16.

He inspected raw material storage, cleaning, production, packaging, and machinery use, emphasizing strict quality standards, cleanliness, and pest-free storage.

The Union Minister instructed factories to increase production, meet domestic demand, and expand exports, while producing higher-value products and ensuring worker safety according to labour regulations.
