Tour in Kyaukse: Union Minister visits Kyaukse to inspect sports facilities

Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, and Hotels and Tourism Jeng Phang Naw Taung, who also serves as Chairman of the Myanmar Olympic Committee, visited sports facilities in Kyaukse District, Mandalay Region on Saturday.

The Union Minister and party inspected the District Sports Office and stadiums, and emphasized the need to maintain and upgrade the facilities to ensure cleanliness and quality. He encouraged collaboration with schools to identify talented students who meet national sports standards and to train them through structured programs.

The Union Minister also highlighted the role of sports in youth development and nation-building. Plans were made to organize awareness events, demonstrations, and sports competitions in schools to promote sports participation. He instructed local authorities to draft short and long-term plans in coordination with relevant departments to support the development of future athletes in Mandalay Region.
