




Deputy Commander in Chief of Defence Services General Kyaw Swar Lin, accompanied by high ranking military officials from Commander in Chief Office and concerned officials, visited Military Computer and Technological Institute in Hopong Station on May 30th. There, the Acting Commandant of the Institute made clarifications on teaching methods, upgrading of teaching assistance and military development measures.
The General instructed for providing reference books at the libraries and coordinated the needs. During the meeting with the coaches and trainees, the General highlighted the pivotal role of the institute that is the main source of turning out skilful military technicians in building modern Tatmadaw.
The General urged the training coaches for constant learning of modern technological trends in accordance with their related fields to be able to teach trainees with proficiency. He also emphasized the needs to adapt to the changing military strategies, skills, equipment, and technologies, instructing all the trainees to try their best in studying and the use of technologies beneficially and loyalty to the Tatmadaw and the country.
The General also stressed that after completing the training, they need to properly apply the skills they have learned and fulfill the assigned duties at their respective battalions and units. They also need to uphold the honor of the institute and the military, avoiding any illegal actions.
After cordially greeted with the attended coaches and trainees, the General and party inspected lecture rooms, hostels, dining rooms and foodstuff storage rooms and instructed for maintaining hygiene and practicing systematic cooking methods.
General Kyaw Swar Lin and wife and concerned military officials later toured around the barracks and vegetable cultivation at the Hopong Station, cordially met with the family members of service men, provided foodstuff and coordinated the requirement on the reports of the officials.
