Tornado leaves damage, debris in suburban Chicago

A tornado that swept through communities in heavily populated suburban Chicago and it damaged more than 100 homes, toppled trees, knocked out power and caused multiple injuries. Heavy damage was reported in the suburbs of Woodridge and Naperville. The National Weather Service is sending a team to survey damage and determine the tornado's strength and path. The storm destroyed the second floor of Bridget Casey's Woodridge home. Severe storms also hit other parts of the Midwest.
