Thingyan in Taninthayi: People enjoyed water throwing at the pandals

Taninthayi Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko and officials visited water pandals in Dawei on 15th April. They viewed the celebration of water festival by the revelers at the central pandal and the pandals of the departments.

The Chief Minister and party also enjoyed the entertainments of dance troupes and vocalists, and sprinkled scented water to the participants. Charity feasts were also served to the revelers at the pandals.

Likewise, people in Myeik and Kawtthoung Districts are also enjoying the water festival at the pandals, which staged entertainment programs and served with charity feasts.
