Thingyan Festival: Ministry Of Religious Affairs And Culture Holds Event

Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture held Thingyan Festival on Sunday.
The event began with a speech by Union Minister U Ko Ko, wishing physical and mental wellbeing and stressing the essence of Thingyan Festival including water splashing, merit-making and importance of preservation of the Thingyan tradition.
After his speech, the Union Minister and officials ceremonially opened the ministry’s Thingyan Festival which included charity feast and traditional performances.
