Temporary Market Closure: Zaychotaw & Taiktangyi To Close Temporarily As Of March 29

Mandalay ZayChoTaw and TaikTanGyi Market Building will be closed temporarily starting 29th March as a measure to control the spread of Coronavirus Disease COVID-19.

But the shops from outside of ZayCho Market will be opened as usual, the Welfare Committee of the market said. Those shops are selling the basic needs of people such as foodstuffs, groceries, meat and fish regularly.

They will also be provided awareness measures in order to have less contacts between the sellers and buyers.

There are over 3000 shops at ZayCho Market, and it is one of the major markets that has been distributing various kinds of raw materials and finished products to all part of Myanmar.
