Technological sector: Union Minister inspected technological teaching facilities

The Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw inspected the University of Computer Studies (Myitkyina), Government Technological High School (Myitkyina) and the Institute of Technology (Myitkyina) on 17th and 18th March.

The union minister met with the pro-rector, principal, heads of departments and faculty members at the University of Computer Studies (Myitkyina) and Government Technological High School (Myitkyina) in the evening on 17th March and instructed to implement the quality teaching and learning, as the ICT is timely developing , the sustainable learning opportunity is needed to give by using the technology effectively and the administrative matters are required to carry out in line with the procedures, rules and regulations.

In the morning on 18th March, the union minister together with the Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan and region government ministers, commander of North command Ma-J Myat Thet Oo and officials inspected the construction project site of University of Computer Studies (Myitkyina).

During the trip, the union minister inspected the class rooms, computer lab, equipments, teaching aids, libraries and workshops of University of Computer Studies (Myitkyina), Government Technological High School (Myitkyina) and the Institute of Technology (Myitkyina) and gave necessary instructions.
