



The Peace Talks Team of the government and the delegation led by the Vice-Chairman (1) of the Shan State Progressive Party (SSPP) held talks at the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Centre in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.
Member of the State Administration Council, Chairman of National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee (NSPNC) Union Minister at the Government Office (1) Lt-Gen Yar Pyae in his capacity as the leader of the Peace Talks Team, SAC Member Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun, NSPNC Secretary Lt-Gen Min Naung, SSPP Vice-Chairman (1) Sao Khur Tai, Vice-Chairman (2) Sao Khun Seng and Central Committee member Sao Naw Leik attended the meeting.
At the talks, the leader of the Peace Talks Team Lt-Gen Yar Pyae and the SSPP Vice-Chairman (1) extended greetings. The participants discussed peace and development issues. After that, the first day meeting was concluded and the 2nd day meeting will be continued on the 6th August.
