Systematic Accommodation: Meeting With In-Charges Of Region/State Branch Offices

Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism Dr. Htay Aung held meeting with In-charges of Nay Pyi Taw Council, Region/State branch offices for the systematic accommodation of visitors at hotels, models and guest houses through video conferencing from the Ministry on Monday.

On the occasion, the Union Minister said that the domestic vistors will be scrutinized their NRC cards starting from 1st April when they visit destionation sites and accomodate. He called for in-charges of branch offices to supervise for accepting domestic visitors with NRC cards who will accommodate at hotels, models and guest houses in regions and states as well as practicing Guest List Management System in all regions and states, extensively. He also stressed on development of accessible tourism and barrier free tourism for the disabled visitors.

He also said that as the international tourism will resume soon, hotels, motels, guest houses and quarantine hotels should be encouraged to apply for Health Safety Protocol Certification. After that, in-charges of Region/State Branch Offices presented their respective sectors and the Union Minister gave necessary instructions.
