Syrians fleeing sectarian violence cross border to Lebanon

Syrians fleeing violence crossed the Nahr al-Kabir river, marking the border between Syria's Latakia province and northern Lebanon. In the Hekr al-Daher area, refugees described losing their homes and possessions, including furniture, shops, and livestock. 

They highlighted the difficult conditions in Syria, where various communities, including Alawites, Sunnis, Shiites, and Christians, have been affected. The refugees, now in Lebanon, expressed gratitude for the support they received, including food, clothing, and water.
