Support for Sports : Sports facilities in Yangon inspected

Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs and Hotels and Tourism Jeng Phang Naw Taung visited the sports facilities in Yangon on Saturday.

He inspected the Basketball Court, Sepak Takaraw Court, Valleyball Court in the compound of Kyaikkasan Ground in Bahan Township, and instructed for renovation works, meeting the set time frame and long term durability. In the evening, the Union Minister attended the opening ceremony of Region and State Tennis Tournament at Thein Phyu Tennis Court. In his speech, the Union Minister urged all to strive for achieving medals and to try to become the selected players who could bring prestige to the nation. They then enjoyed opening matches.
