







Myanmar Olympic Committee held its meeting at National Indoor Stadium (1), Thuwunna in Yangon on Sunday. Committee Chairman Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs and Hotels and Tourism Jeng Phang Naw Taung attended the meeting and made a speech.
The meeting discussed the preparations for the 33rd SEA Games, scheduled to be held in Thailand from December 9 to 20. The discussions focused on administrative matters, joint training in foreign countries, accommodation and convenient arrangements for the sports contingents.
Officials from various sports federations including equestrian, chess, golf, boxing, hockey, badminton, shooting, Kabaddi, Mwe, Billiards and Snooker, Cricket, Boat Race, swimming, volleyball, football/futsal, bowling, squash, tug of war, traditional letwei, aviation sports, yachting, archery, basketball, sepak takaraw, chinlone, gymnastics, cycling, skating, taekwando, Jujitsu, e-Sports, table tennis, Judo, Karate, Pancak Silat, Wushu, wrestling, Kick boxing, Teqball and weightlifting, joined the meeting.
