Authorities say a tornado that touched down in a largely rural area of northern Colorado on Monday damaged at least one home and brought down power poles and lines. No injuries were reported from the twister in Weld County but there are reports of livestock lost. A county spokesperson says one home was damaged in a fire caused by downed a power line. The National Weather Service is conducting a survey of the damage to determine the intensity of the twister. It says it appears to have touched down north of Firestone and then moved to near Platteville before dissipated.
