Streep honoured at opening of Cannes Film Festival

Meryl Streep was a guest of honour at the opening of the Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday.

This was Streep’s first trip to the Cannes Film Festival in 35 years - she noted that the last time having been in 1989 for A Cry in the Dark.
