State Administration: Senior General Meets With Magway Region Government

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with members of the Magway Region Government and many other regional officials on Thursday. The Senior General heard reports on livestock and agriculture sector, COVID-19 vaccination programme and security and law enforcement measures.

In his response, the Senior General called for systematic livestock farming, production of livestock products at fair price, modern oil mills, conservation of the traditional palm-based products, plans to increase the per-acre yield of cotton, trees planting across the country, mechanised agriculture, acceleration of agricultural machines production at fair price and importance of adherence to traffic rules.

He also urged the concerned officials to narrow development gap between the urban and rural areas, work for rural development and serve for interests of the public in line with law.
