Sri Lanka First Global Scaled Marathon Held In Colombo

The Colombo Marathon attracts around 4,000 to 5,000 athletes from 25 different countries, making it one of the major international sporting events to take place in the country, Sri Lanka. This is also a significant occasion for Sri Lanka, as it marks the first time the Colombo Marathon is being hosted here, welcoming both local and international athletes to compete on the streets of Colombo.

The event featured four different marathon categories, allowing participants with different levels of experience and ability to take part in the competition. It is an opportunity to bring people from different countries together through sport while showcasing Colombo and Sri Lanka to an international audience.
