Sports Sector: Sports grounds and stadiums inspected

Chairman of Myanmar Olympic Committee Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs and Hotels and Tourism Jeng Phang Naw Taung inspected the sports grounds and stadiums in Meiktila District of Mandalay Region on Sunday.

The Union Minister inspected the upgrading works at the district sports ground and instructed for timely completion with set standard. He also viewed the installation of outdoor fitness facilities at the public recreation areas in the vicinity of Meiktila Lake.

The Union Minister later proceeded to Kalaw Township in Shan State and cheered the U-17 Inter-School Football Tournament. In Shwe Nyaung Township, the Union Minister inspected the upgrading of Township Sports Ground and urged for completion in the targeted time.
