Sports Event: 2026 Region and State Taekwondo Championship

The 2026 Region and State Taekwondo Championship opened at National Indoor Stadium (1) in Thuwunna of Thingangyun Township in Yangon.

Chief Minister U Aung Naing Thu attended the opening event and made a speech, before officially opened the competition. A total of 221 athletes from regions and states across Myanmar are taking part in the tournament which will be held from July 23 to July 27.
